Be a VR space conductor

HandParticle is a free virtual reality music video game wherein you can create cool particle tricks to the rhythm of the music. Developed by VoxelKei, this VR game is audio-reactive and showcases different effects in response to whatever audio is playing through it. You can easily play this game on the Oculus Quest 2 headset, but this will require hand-tracking enabled on your settings.

Both music and visuals

HandParticle is basically a game about music and visual effects. By playing the preset music on the menu, your black space environment will start to emit different particle effects based on audio cues and beat you hear. They will come prominently from your VR-simulated hands, allowing you to play around with dancing and semi-conducting the visual effects. You won’t be able to control what shows up and how much will be displayed, though.

Aside from the preset selection of audio files available, you can add your music to the game’s library. You can do so by opening your SD card, going to the Android folder, and then to the “data” folder. Open up the folder for the game and its “files” folder, and you can start adding audio files in there. Take note that only MP3 files are supported by the game.

The game can be found on SideQuest and is easy enough to install. However, it’s a bit limiting for such a cool concept. For one, you can’t customize the colors and visual effects you’d like to show up—which would be a nice feature to have for any music video recordings. Another is that the game supports only one audio file format, so you’ll have to convert your files first if you want to play them on this game.

Has room for improvements

All in all, HandParticle is a great VR experience for any kind of player. If you’re fond of music games in VR, you can try this out even if you’re still a beginner at virtual reality gaming. While it lacks more in-depth customization and audio format support, it shows great potential in becoming a platform for creativity. This is a highly recommended game for VR fans.

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
